New Jersey Competitive Solar Incentive “CSI” Program

Solicitation #3: May 14 – September 30, 2025

Through this website/portal, applicants will submit project proposals for consideration under the CSI Program solicitation. The CSI Program is open to qualifying grid supply solar installations and non-residential net metered solar installations with a capacity greater than five (5) megawatts (“MW”), as well as to eligible grid supply solar installations in combination with energy storage. Selected solar projects will secure New Jersey Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SREC-IIs).

The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities established the CSI Program by Order dated December 7, 2022.

Bidders can use this website to access information about the solicitation, ask questions related to the solicitation, and link to forms to submit project prequalification information and final bids.

The CSI Program is part of the Successor Solar Incentive (SuSI) Program. Projects not eligible to participate in the CSI program solicitation may be eligible to apply for incentives under the Administratively Determined Incentive (ADI) Program, established as part of the SuSI Program to support residential solar, smaller net metered solar projects, and community solar projects.
